The Columbus City Council authorized a $502,585.15 grant for Community Housing Network Inc. to provide supportive services at the Touchstone Field Place II apartments. This funding, sourced from the federal HOME-ARP program, will assist residents who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse. The 44-unit permanent supportive housing project prioritizes individuals who meet HUD's definition of chronic homelessness. Community Housing Network Inc. will manage the program and partner with the YMCA to provide 24/7 on-site staff for case management, crisis intervention, and other support. The service contract is set for a term from November 1, 2025, through July 31, 2030.
