The proposal involves rezoning the currently vacant shopping center to a B3-3 Community Shopping District and then to a new, amended PD to facilitate the 'Morgan Park Commons' mixed-use development. The project will feature up to 244 residential units, commercial spaces, a performing arts center, and park areas. The initial phase is set to include 70 residential units situated above ground-floor commercial space, with 81 parking spaces and a maximum building height of 60 feet.
