The Charlotte City Council approved two-year contracts for on-call water and sanitary sewer engineering and surveying services with three firms: GHD Consulting Services, Inc., McKim & Creed, Inc., and WSP USA, Inc. The action authorizes the City Manager to renew the contracts for up to two additional two-year terms. The firms were selected from 16 responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued on June 30, 2025. The contracts are intended to support Charlotte Water's facility and infrastructure projects. The estimated annual aggregate expenditure under these contracts is $1,500,000, funded by the Charlotte Water Capital Investment Plan. Each selected firm has also identified certified minority, women, and small business enterprises for subcontracting roles.
